DM bought this impressive collection at a Sothebys Auction in Monaco

Sothebys - 6th December 1992 Succession Charles Hathaway

 (see tag on item and pages from Auction catalog in photos) in Monaco with the thought to find a master silversmith to recreate these works of art and offer them to his VIP clients. After searching for the last 11 years from Italy, England, France and Asia, it was not possible for him to find any silversmith that was confident to replicate this same quality, fit and finish. The perfect close on each piece is most impressive, the masterwork, the weight, finish and quality that is exhibited in each piece,  DM has not seen before.

The complete magnificent set of 5 pieces has a solid 18kt Gold Motif on the center of each piece. DM gifted Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger one of the Cigar cases from this collection in 1999 after the Governor expressed great interest in having one of these stunning, impossible to find and make again sterling silver cases and lighter.
